About the event
Struggling to throw off the shackles of purity culture? Find it hard to ask for what you want when it comes to sex, or to even talk about it at all?Â
Our stigmatizing, sex-negative culture means that most people reach adulthood carrying at least some baggage when it comes to sex. This leads to many of us feeling shame about our bodies, our sexual desires, and our ablity to 'perform' in bed. The end result is LESS: less pleasure, less connection with others, less understanding of ourselves and our bodies, less compassion for ourselves and others, less joy. And we deserve better - we deserve MORE of all of these things.
This discussion group is designed to create a safe space to explore our feelings of shame, inadequacy and anxiety around sex, as well as personal insights and strategies that have helped us. And if sharing feels too much - you are welcome to turn up and simply listen.Â
This is a free event, but space is limited - to ensure entry, please turn up on time.
