While many books that talk about the sociologies and experiences of sex work are a look from the outside looking in, this book is written from the perspective of two sex workers -- from the inside culture looking outwardly -- with insight into how laws, society, and culture are entrenched in the very words sex work. The situate their arguments along a variety of intersecting parameters including migration, labor rights, legislation, feminism, race and ethnicity, and overall social justice.
